After School Program Support

Dates: September-June; Monday-Fridays Sign-up for 1 or multiple days to volunteer each week Time: 2:00p -7:00PM Age: 14+ Description: Volunteers will assist with homework help, general supervision, program/activity support, and overall participant engagement. Healthy Kid's Day 2026

Greenwich YMCA

Saturday, April 25th: 10:30AM-4:00PM Join us for Healthy Kids Day, a fun-filled event designed to help kids learn healthy habits through play, movement, and creativity! Children will enjoy interactive activity stations focused on physical fitness, mindfulness, and everyday wellness skills. Volunteers will be tasked with set up, break down, activity management and general event support. Partial shifts offered if not available for full event duration. Volunteer t-shirt will be provided. Jeans or athletic bottoms and closed toe shoes recommended. All ages 14 and up welcome!

JFS of Greenwich Compassionate escorts with seniors to non-emergency medical appointments

Greenwich YMCA

The volunteer accompanies the senior to the medical appointment and the transportation is provided by the client. There are also virtual volunteer opportunities where the volunteer is on the phone with the client the entire trip.

Marketing Promotions Assistant

Age 16 years old+. Assist in coomunity awareness of YMCA of Greenwich programs, events and services. Pick up marketing materials to distribute to local organizations, store, and community spaces pre-approved by YMVA staff. Track and provide brief updates on where the materials were distributed. Help brainstorm or assist in grassroots marketing.

Age 18 yrs old +. Find more volunteers for Food Pantry and Clothing/Essentials Room. Position Responsibilities... Date checking, restocking, client check-out, tearing up boxes, lifting handbags and crates of food, assist with incoming donations, helping volunteers. Flexible with shifts...8:00 AM- 10:15 AM, 10:15 AM- 12:30 PM, or 9AM-12:30 PM

Parking Enforcement Attendant

Position requires individual to check vehicles for current parking stickers, ticket when illegally parked. Direct traffic on Event/high traffic days and ensure that Greenwich Avenue shoppers are not parking in our lots.

The YMCA of Greenwich Trailblazers Club is a group of outdoor enthusiasts who gather regularly to explore local trails, hike, and socialize in nature. Help support the YMCA of Greenwich Trailblazers Club by becoming a volunteer. • Must be in good health and physical condition • Must have no medical issues or limitations that prevent participation • Volunteer drivers may transport members when needed
